Overall Review: I am a computer tech and I still cannot for the life of me solve this memory issue. I feel like it is rooted in the motherboard. I have tried every possible configuration. If you buy this board I would recommend memory with mhz speed, you will not benefit from mhz much anyways. I have oc'd to 4. I have had to research and trial and error oc settings to find a balance between performance and compatibility to avoid the dreaded blue screen.

Cons: BIOS settings are many, unless willing to spend time tinkering try something more simple, but worth it in the end. BIOS update easy. My first BIOS flash and could not have been easier. For the money, I really can't think of what you could get that is noticeably better for near the price. Read reviews including mine at your own risk, you know how people skew their experiences. Any issues come up use the telephone, but be willing to learn.

Pros: Has tons of overclocking options. The BIOS has options to turn off the things you don't need. Updating the BIOS is cake and there are several ways to do it. Has been running overclocked and stable since I assembled it. Runs XP Pro and Vista 64 with no problems.

Will work with ATI crossfire though I only use a single nvidia card. Has plenty of software to overclock from windows instead of going into the BIOS. Has a built in operating system to browse the web or chat with. Overall Review: It wouldn't post when I first put it together. I had no idea why and was extremely troubled.

My case doesn't have a speaker so I couldn't listen for error beeps to determine the cause. I didn't check the qvl when I bought memory and thought that was the problem. I ordered memory from the qvl list and reassembled the computer and it worked and has been working ever since. Later I stuck the memory that I first bought back in and it worked.

So apparently I didn't do something correctly when I first assembled the computer. Good header and connector layouts and lots of IO options. My first update failed but the board went into recovery mode and brought back the initial factory BIOS.

If you are buying this board, download and burn all the latest drivers you can get your hands on ahead of time to avoid frustration. Overall Review: Overall I am pleased with this board, but can only recommend it based on the processor and memory configuration I have used. Your millage may vary. Well im not a pro in this stuff and this part of specifications was really complicated for me. Cons: Plagued by stability issues from day 1 with recommended memory and PSU. Own 5 of these and only 1 is remotely stable. Even that one will not go a week at work without a 2 or 3 random resets. Overall Review: download the intel raid drivers off asus's website if u want to install xp directly onto raid.

Pros: I chose this for the board to build my E based pc around. I read all of the raves about overclocking and how easy it was, so i had to go get it. And let me tell you its easy, on the the cpu frequency is , i upped it to and boom im operating at 2. Cons: None really, I had purchased one in a rush just to get to building but cancelled my order and did the research on this and found it great to build an overclocked sli system around, i havent used the mic or the wifi yet, and really havent learned how to fine tune the overclocking, but im sure if i took the time i'd squeeze every drop of power from this badboy.

None of those are cons for the board i just didnt want to say none. Overall Review: Well worth the money, luckily everything i bought worked when i plugged them all together, no flashing needed, i had been building this pc week by week for months and thankfully it all worked.

Pros: Ran perfectly for 5 months with Pentium D 3. Just flashed bios and installed Core 2 Extreme x 2. Now runs at 91 degrees F with much improved performance.

Overall Review: This was an early motherboard from last summer with bios Despite the cautions about memory compatiblity, this has been a very reliable and stable board.
